Fear – iPrevail http://www.iprevail.net Spiritual Growth & Development Fri, 02 Sep 2022 14:31:06 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.9.26 Fear Not http://www.iprevail.net/fear/fear-not http://www.iprevail.net/fear/fear-not#respond Wed, 18 Sep 2013 12:50:47 +0000 http://www.pixlinkdesigns.com/iprevail/?p=474 Fear is your enemy.  Fear is a negative force that keeps us from being our best.  Fear is unbelief.  It is the opposite of Love and Faith.  Our spiritual adversary is the author of Fear and uses this tool to defeat people.  But we can overcome Fear by growing in God’s power.  God’s Word equips us with strength that enables us to eradicate Fear out of our lives, that roadblock in our thinking that has always hindered us from moving forward on things…If we have Fear, then we are not “Believing”….and Believing is the key to Receiving Abundance and Power.

Fear is to be afraid; apprehensive; timid.  Fear comes from doubt, worry, confusion, ignorance.  Some use the acronym F.E.A.R….False Evidence Appearing Real.  That which poses as an obstacle in your way is not real, unless you believe it is.  This “emotion” and “sense” is registered and recognized in the senses realm…in the flesh.  But we have the ability to rise above this enemy.  In Christ…in the spirit, we are FEARLESS!  As we continue to grow spiritually by the Word of God we will overcome Fear and that sense of apprehension that keeps us from advancing in life.  They say the greatest form of “fear” is the fear of death.   But Fear Not!   Because as we continue to grow in the knowledge of God, we will develop spiritually in the Reality of who we are in Christ and therein is No Fear of death.  Spiritually we have (already) overcome death!  We have overcome all the Negatives of this world and powers of the devil!  Overcoming Fear is Freedom and Peace!

And we are Definitely Not suppose to be Fearful or Afraid of God!  We are to love Him and be Confident in our relationship with Him. And continue to grow closer to Him day by day….I know the KJV Bible says  to “fear God”… but that actually means to have “reverence” and “respect” toward God.  God does not want us to live in Fear!  But be the most Confident, Strong and Prevailing people in the world.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.  John 16:33

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.  II Timothy 1:7

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.  I John 4:18

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.  Isaiah 41:10

Let’s learn to live Fearlessly in the power of God!
