In building a relationship with God, as Father and son, there grows a certain trust and confidence that brings our desires to pass.

It is important to know that God’s Word gives us all things that pertain unto life and the things that enhance our relationship with Him.

Confidence is knowing that what I Ask and Pray for I get, because I know His Desires for my life.

God can only give us according to our hearts desire, as it agrees with His Word.  And He only gives us Good.  (Negativity does Not come from Him)

Ignorance of this reality leaves us lacking.  There is a proper perspective of what we should desire, According to His Word.  (Contentment with godliness is great gain.)

Life is not about materialistic things, but about who we are becoming spiritually.  The inner spirit man must grow and develop into an identity that is well pleasing to God the Father.

Life is about what we represent and what we give back.  To only edify is to be our goal.

A perfect heart and a willing mind are key.  A New Prevailing Attitude is to be our Aim.

Developing and maintaining an Attitude that has Father’s Approval is to be our Agenda in life.

God is Able to Do All things…

“Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask <desire> or think, according to the power that worketh in us”…  Ephesians 3:20

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us:
And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.”  I John 5:14, 15

“If any of you needs wisdom to know what you should do, you should ask God, and He will give it to you. God is generous to everyone and doesn’t find fault with them.”  James 1:5

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”  James 3:17

“You have not, because you Ask not”…

 

]]> http://www.iprevail.net/attitude/your-hearts-desire/feed 0 Prevailing Attitude http://www.iprevail.net/attitude/prevailing-attitude http://www.iprevail.net/attitude/prevailing-attitude#respond Sun, 06 Oct 2013 15:37:15 +0000 http://www.pixlinkdesigns.com/iprevail/?p=493 God’s Will for our lives is that we learn and grow and develop a new Attitude according to the spiritual standard of Truth.  This Attitude and mindset is an accomplished reality for us.  It is found “in Christ”  (“Christ” is the power of God.  “Jesus” is the man who came to make known this power).   We all have a new “spiritual identity” that resides “in Christ”.  But how do we reach and attain unto it?   Well, it’s a process of growth.   As we gain knowledge of what’s available to us and understand who we are spiritually, and as we “put on” this mindset as our new standard for living… our thoughts and words and habits and behavior, we transform…from the weaknesses of our “old man nature” (also called the “flesh”) to the powerful reality of the spirit of Christ that dwells in us…”the new man”.  When we believe on Jesus Christ, we receive the gift of holy spirit.  This spirit is our “potential” power.  It is called “Christ in you”.  But it is only potential and remains dormant in our lives, until we learn to tap into it, and manifest it, by it’s precise knowledge.  We must learn about it, and how to develop it and grow up in it and how to exercise it… insomuch that we Prevail in it.    Prevailing in life is a reality that can only be attained by renewing our minds to Truth, and thereby holding to this standard regardless of what the world or the senses realm tells us…it has to become our Attitude!    So when the negatives of this dark world tell you, “you can’t accomplish that”…but Truth says, “you can do all things in Christ”… which do you want to believe?  The one you decide on, is your reality.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  Romans 12:2

And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.  Ephesians 4:24

And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.  Colossians 3:10

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Philippians 4:13

Our Prevailing Power comes with our Attitude set in Christ.  It’s a new reality that we must decide on…

There is much to learn about putting on our new identity, which is forth coming…
